What is the next special BMW you will put a deposit down on?
I am sure a lot of you on this thread are similar to myself and had a deposit down on your m2 for a long time. I had one down a year and a half ago. I am interested what will be the next upcoming bmw each of you plans to put one down on next. I couldn't have been happier that I planned ahead for my m2

M2 GC dealer took my deposit 6/7. RS3 deposit since 11/7 but will likely pass on that one.

My M2 is likely the last new BMW I will have purchased. Adding ZMC when I'm in a house with a two or three car garage. My next new car will be a Porsche. Sorry BMW.

I am #1 at my local dealer for the yet to be announced M8.
Hoping to hear some potential information about it this month.

Not sure what my next car after the M2 is going to be. My wife will be out of residency by then and fully practicing as an anesthesiologist so my options will be substantial, I will likely target a used McLaren 570s at some point and I would like to own a C7 Z06 my guess is the C7 will come first then the 570 or some other McLaren down the line a bit. I plan on sticking with the M2 for 3-4 years and if I like it I will keep it and just add to my garage to improve my hand a bit.

I'm in the same boat.
Deposit on the M2 CSL; with the Gran Coupe firmly in the "will buy" category. |

I'm with you, my next car will hopefully be a Porsche, just have to wait a few years until the kids are old enough to drive and i can get away with a 2 seater car.

Define 'a Porsche'
There are only two Porsches I want(and I mean badly!) and cannot afford or on awaiting list: -Cayman GT4 -991 GT3RS The rest is 'great' or whatever(not my cup of tea) and rather keep my M2 and wait for a CS(L) GTS , I'm first on the list at my dealer... Cheers Robin |

Pretty sure we are both mid 40s. ... You like the Same two I would want and I can't afford either as well.. I don't have aspirations to " own a Porsche " or to " own a Corvette" , and therefore for a standard 911 really has little interest. Maybe I'll get "old" in the next 15 years and that will change ! The Cayman R was available when the 1M came out. It's a Great car but not miles ahead of the 1M like the GT4 is with the M2. I'm also hoping that BMW ups the ante and brings an M2 CSL or GTS (just put a window sticker on the freaking Motorsport M2 pace car and sell it to me please !!! ). |
