Can I run E92 M3 wheel on E92 335i M sport?

Hey guys I'm curious if my 12' 335i m sport coupe can support these m3 wheels and tires. What issues can I run into if I were to put these on?

Currently
5 spoke wheel 230
front 225/35/19 et 37
rear 255/30/19 et 39

Want to purchase
BMW M3 wheel 220m
front 245/35/19 et 29
rear 265/35/19 et 23

M3 wheels generally don't fit non-M cars due to the different offsets. The rear, especially, will rub. There have been a couple threads where people get them to work it involves body work and such.

It depends the rears might be ok if you roll the fenders, front might be a problem depending on how low your car is I'm pretty low and i couldn't run 245's up front.

Yeah I don't want to do any body modifications. I guess I would have to pass up on these. So M sport wheels will be better for my car?

mine is LCI 328 E90.
I am running 219M with 225/255 tires.
I do have a minor rub in big bump while at stock height.
Now I have my KW V1, so I need to do a negative camber at the rear for like -2.8 degree to avoid rubbing (without negative camber, it rubs like crazily). But it still rubs occasionally. only if I corner fast enough. lol
and I didn't roll my fender.
Hope these help.

The tires aren't the issue...many of us run wider tires than come stock on M cars. The wheel offset is the issue.

+1

Front offsets are fine. It's the rear offset that's a bit aggressive. To work, you may need to roll fender, camber, and might need to change rear tires.

It's not the width (well, indirectly the width), but more so the aspect ratio.

It can be done quite easily as long as you get the correct tires. M cars run tires that are a little wider and about 1 inch taller. A 255/30/19 should work fine for the rear with a minor roll. Or a 265/30/19 if you want a little less stretch but you will need a more aggressive roll and between -2 to -3 camber.

Also you can run a square set-up, that's what I did. Its harder to do , running 235/35/19 frt & 265/30/19 rear. I just did the m3 front arms and the front started rubbing a little. The rear doesn't rub though.
