LSC-100A Brake Light Strobe Module

I'm looking to purchase a brake light strobe module for my M235i, has anyone here had any good/bad experiences with these? I'm looking to do all three brake lights or maybe just the third brake light. Wouldn't want to give anybody a seizure.
Purpose for me is to catch the attention of others when it comes to hard braking.

You can just enable this via coding. $20 for the cable. It's called emergency brake light mode or something.

Idk, I just looked at the name in the coding cheatsheet. It's under braking.

I know that the 2 series are equipped with a 3 brake light (top) which activates on a hard brake application. (I saw it on the owners manual - yes my car is in order for the last 5 weeks and I've been just reading the entire manual lol) and you should install that bulb on the top spot and whenever you apply a hard brake application it strobes!

lol, I did the same thing. in stock form the before lights will be brighter if you press the brakes hard. I'm guessing that's where the third light comes in. After coding in the emergency brake thing my lights flash when I brake hard. There's a video of it somewhere.

Nice. does the strobing stop after you've had your foot on the pedal for a bit?

Yes it rapidly flashes 4 times for 0.4 seconds, slowly 4 times for 2.6 seconds, and then the brake light remains on bright until brake pedal is released.

Is it just a module that taps into the existing circuit? Or is it an actual bulb replacement?

Okay, so I did a google on the model and watched a video on youtube of it. I'm not sure if I would want it to blink each and every time I step on the pedal. I would actually like to have this feature on the top brake light. Whenever a heavy brake application has been applied this will alert the driver behind that I've applied the brakes hard!!

I think you'd like the emergency brake lighting that I've enabled. It only flashes when braking hard.

It only flashes when ABS engages, I believe.

I coded it in too.

I just applied the module to the third brake light and yes every time I apply the brake the third brake light will strobe. You should consider BentZero's route if you wouldn't want the brakes to flash every time upon braking. I'm just not too savvy on coding.

I believe that it'll flash under the same conditions that the "brighter brake lights" feature engages. When I tested it out abs did not engage, but I still got some flashy flashy.

I ordered the cable for coding, hopefully I can get the coding part down since it'll be my first time, however running software and on the computer is not new to me as I'm very technology oriented & love to play with software... Can't wait to get my car.
