Quicker than 458 Italia, also GT3 RS is slower than 650S, 675LT and Huracan.

The 991GT3 RS AUTOZEITUNG tested vs M4 GTS @ short GP track Nurburgring was 124kg less porky than the M4 GTS. Still dont like that M4 GTS is that porky, but I must live with it

Also GT3RS has sticky 325s in the rear and with 124kg less it may account for the difference. If GTS was 300lbs lighter and maybe even had wider tires in the rear, there may not be any difference at all. Perhaps CSL will fix that lap time difference (maybe not lower weight as rumors are CSL has a hybrid setup but instant torque out of corners will make a big difference).

But it isn't lighter unless you start to chop it off, and by putting wider rear tires you will alter the car's balance and the result will probably be worse. You can't just slap wider tires on a car and make it better on the track.

Let's face it, the Porsche is just better.

NEVER ... Porsche is a Beetle with a race engine.
Try to go fast with the Porsche by wet conditions

No surprises here. Even the base GT3 is faster. The RS is in another league...if it had 600 hp (like those few cars ahead of it in lap time) it would also be faster than the 650/675 and Huracan too, but those cars just make so much more power. The GT2 will do just that.

I guess someone has an explanation for why the GTS is compared vs the GT3 RS instead of the GT3?

Let's just effin praise how much of a gap M has closed on Stuttgart! Jeez! The GTS is so far beyond anything M has done in all its history to be honest(I know this will resonate, but the front spindles are evidence enough). Only 700 of us will know and the rest can be influenced by bias test articles and someone else's driving skills.

As shown in sport auto base 991 GT3 is 0,4 seconds faster on short hockenheim. Thats with same driver same day, mind you that Gt3 was 137kg lighter than M4 GTS. Thats One cars thats Made massive impression here and thats the M4 GTS.

The driver was Christian G, who did win its class in LATEST 24H in MANTHEY Porsche GT4 CS(with 2 other drivers as well)

On sachsenring the GTS was only 0,2 sec slower than 991 GT3, same drive(racdriver). Porsche was ca. same Kg lighter.

In that case, I hope they retest with a BMW factory driver as well.

The Nring times are clear, the GTS is as fast as the GT3. I would love to get one of these!

Wish the ///M4 GTS came with a 6 speed manual gearbox. Sadly it only comes with a DCT

Just a great product from BMW.
Taking into account how many engines this platform has, the GTS stays very close to the Porsche.

Porsche is The Boss. BMW still hasn't been able to dial out the over steer with the M4/M3
