Streaming Music via Bluetooth

Does anyone know if the Business CD stereo bluetooth system is capable of having music streamed to it from a cell phone that is capable of streaming music. Or does the bluetooth system in our cars only support the Handsfree protocol.

I've never tried it; but, I dont think you can use the bluetooth system as speakers because it only activates (mutes others) the sound from the phone when you make/get a call. I'll try playing music through the music player on my phone later, but I think it'll just come out of my phone since when I get a call my ringtone still goes off from my phone but the car also has its "ringtone" One way you could do it though is use the AUX port to connect your phone then you're phone would use the car as "speakers" A little messier but works.

Streaming BT Audio is not yet supported in BMWs.
