Info on TMAP O-Ring

Anyone have any info on where to acquire the o-ring on the TMAP? When I installed my chargepipe I noticed the TMAP o ring is a little weathered and coincidentally I've been getting a 30FF on my 335 but am hitting boost completely fine (map 5 around 14-14.5psi).

I've had vacuum lines replaced, turbos and no wg rattle.

Appreciate the help in advance!

Measure the dimensions with a caliper then order one off mcmaster-carr, they pretty much have every size you'd ever need.

Appreciate it but I think the o ring needs to be able to withstand a certain temperature so it's gotta be heat resistant

You've never been on mcmaster have you? It tells you the operating temp of the o-rings they offer... for instance the high temp silicone has operating temps from -60*F to 400*F. If you're outside that range then you have bigger problems on your hands

Mcmaster is a great place, but for orings especially there may be some trial and error in getting the right size. And orings of that size probably come in packs of 25, 50, or 100.

10x2mm oring = 10mm inside diameter, 2mm thickness

This does the trick, a Viton oring would be a little better but Nitrile is completely fine. Buy 2 so you can do the sensor in the manifold and charge pipe.

EDPM rubber, I wouldnt buy that one. Poor resistance to petroleum products (e.g engine oil). Intake tract is covered in engine oil

Awesome, much appreciated.

Are you currently using these o-rings? If so, how are they holding up so far?

Yes running them on my car and have replaced them on a bunch of my friends cars with chipped orings. No issues after several months. The seal is tighter than an old OEM o-ring as well, the originals had a looser fit, assuming cos they are old and compressed.

This is what you should be looking for:

http://www.mcmaster.com/#9263k174/=12yxx6n

Or if you are in a pinch and happen to have a set of metric ac system o-rings available there should be at least a set of them in there too.
