528i loaner car
While my 328 m-sport with DHP and go flats is being serviced today, my dealer lent me a 528i.
The 528i is actually a pretty nice car. It's bigger than the E39s I had prior and that's why I "downsized" to a 3er. After driving this 528i loaner, I am convinced I made the right choice. The 3er is just the right size for my taste. The other impression I had is how truly awful the runflats/suspension combination on the 528 feel. I have DHP with Dinan shockware and switched to go flats and the difference between my car and this loaner is huge. Bottom line: The 528i is a nice car. I'd like to try one with DHP and go flats but thats not going to happen. In the meantime, I will get my car back with fresh oil this afternoon and pat myself on the back for making the decision to go from 25 years of driving 5ers and downsizing to the 328i. No regrets at all. |
