E92 335i Xenon Headlight high/low beam failure

pre-lci, changed ballast, changed bulb, rings work fine, the high/low beam shutter works and indicators work as well. Fuses have been checked, unless i oversaw something they looked fine, believe the 40 AMP fuse is the one for the headlight.

Starting this thread with hope that someone has been here before, I will be taking off the headlight tomorrow and plugging it into the passenger side to see if the issue lies inside the headlight or with power supply (aka harness etc). I have a suspicion its the silver wire between the ballast and the bulb, however I would ap[appreciate any imput!
Code is id-120, obv not much help. THANKS!
