[E91] Clutch pedal blocked manual gearbox in the up position

When I tried to start my car this morning I was unable to start it because I couldn't step on my clutch pedal. It seems blocked in the 'up' position and not like everyone else in the downward position.

I feels like something is blocking the downward movement. I don't want to step on it very hard as I'm afraid of breaking something. Is there a possibility that the master and/or slave cylinders are involved/blocked?

I don't know if this has something to do with it but I bumped agains the sidewalk in while parking the car. I always live it in first gear to avoid using the handbrake.

Any thoughts on what the cause of the problem could be?
