Smile Took possession of 2016 i8

15 x5m owner, just added 16 i8. Impressions: very fun to drive although slower than my huge x5m; get at most 15 miles on battery; styling awesome and as such selected this car over Tesla; doors and windows make it hard when paying at a parking garage; get looks everywhere I go; trunk is a joke; I managed to fit my daughter's car seat in. So lots of practical issues but again, amazing style and fun to drive.

I thought I was reading about myself! 2015 X5M and now also 2016 i8 in white. Your observations mirror my own.

Congrats, I'm happy to agree with you on the fun matter too
I have driven many cars, none of them has given me the pleasure of what I8 offers

Congrats and fully agree with your comments. As the car is pretty large parking is always challenging, at least here in Switzerland where parking spots are soooo small.

Trunk? What trunk? All i saw was a glove compartment in the back!
Which car seat did you manage to squeeze into your i8?

unless you did extensive mods to x5M 3.8 best for stock and you can do 3.7 in i8 soon - just wait past 3000 miles on your odometer

Not if 3.1 was the last time you checked on your wristwatch before your eyes wandered back to the speedometer to watch it go across 60. ;-)
