Question for the Wagon owners
Quick question for the wagon owners.
Just sold my winter E90 sedan, and I am looking at picking up wagon. With the seats folded down, is it possible to put a couple of bikes (with removable front wheel) inside the vehicle? |

Well I know you can a least do one.
Well I know you can a least do one.
You would have to figure a way to stack them and be careful of the headliner when putting the second one in. Rear seats have to be down of course. |

They won't fit in the 1er. At least the wagon has the roof rails already, so if they don't fit, we can slap them on the roof. Just can't load them there in our low parking garage. Found a unicorn 325IX manual that we are going to look at tomorrow. |

I've fit my 1929 Hawthorne in the back with the front wheel still on. A modern bike will probably be even easier.

I've loaded three full size bikes without much issue. Front wheels removed of course and seats folded down.
E91 FTW. Just missing turbo(s). |

325 manual? Nice find. I'd prefer one without AWD, but a low cost manual wagon that you do a 3 stage intake manifold swap on sounds great.

We've done two road bikes w/o issue, and we use two old, thick blankets; one on the bottom, bike, 2nd blanket, bike. Protects the car and the bikes from each other. However, a few months back I installed a trailer hitch and now use a bike rack which is a much better solution.

Good luck with your E9_ wagon search. I am doing the same. Just signed onto this great forum, been lurking here a while doing all my pre-purchase research.

Want black, dark grey or dark blue with black interior, x drive, sport package, manual. Not sure I will ever find one. Good luck yourself. |

I personally prefer the non-x-drive version. Plus, RWD gets you (I believe...at least that's true in my model year) the better M-Sport suspension, which doesn't come with X-drive versions. Anyway, 6MT wagons with M-Sport do show up periodically. I was told that mine is one of under 400 imported into the US in my model year. |
