E9* prices....
Hello all,
Is it just me or are the prices for E9* coming down like a rocket? And loads coming into the market at the moment which doesn't help things. Good news for me since I want to get another one soon, but not for who's selling them. Are you finding the same thing or just me? |

I've heard it's gone quiet out there, the f series prices are dropping big time.
I think it's worse for late e9x on 10-12 plates they are the worst hit due to them being so close to the f series in price. At the bottom the older ones like 56-09 have nearly hit bottom any way. It is strange out there at the mo. Some cracking cars out there. Defo buyers market. |

I've been keeping an eye on e91's 335d's, 335i's and they are still holding there value well.
Very high spec cars are still quite rare. Yours Dann must be a one off in the country. |

I agree with the F series being cheap. I have seen many 335i going for E90/1 money which concerns me. I agree low mileage and high speak will help keeping their prices but once everything drops, they will have to follow.
Online at this stage there are more E90/1 335i I have seen before. I fancy another one but I might go for a 135i since they are going for focus money. The market is slowing down and will crash by xmas. The market is currently flooded and dealers are paying low money which will affect everything. At work we have noticed a drop on market values. |

The dad owned mine and his son owned a sister car. Only difference is the other has oyster leather instead of the blue. Everything else is identically spec'd |

I agree that there are more 335's appearing than ever before, it's hard to know what will be a good buy now. I'm off to look a 91 tomorrow, it's auto rather than manual but I'm thinking I have to make a sacrifice somewhere.

That's boss that, knowing how unique your car is. probably nearly 100k order for them 2 cars. Who ever sold them had a decent day at the office.
I'd of had a manual 335d if they made 1, I was split between a manual lci 330d e91 or a pre Lci 335d e91 I seen my 335d e91 advertised and I had to have it. |

Would have been in excess of 100k as my list price (I worked out from brochures etc) would have been nearly £55k.
Originally I wanted a lower mileage 330i but I saw this and saw the spec and couldn't say no. |

Your car is 1 of those were you see it advertised, you know the rarety of the spec, engine etc you have to buy it.
I seen mine on eBay private seller it ticked every box. it was detailed a few weeks earlier and been garaged by him and previous owner. As mint as you can get being 9 years old, Spec is decent and low miles for a diesel, done 23k since Christmas tho, Just as well it was ! |

if anything, i would say the 335's are going up in price - decent ones anyway.
I recently purchased an E91 335d and it cost me more to buy than the one I sold 18 months ago! I had a brief encounter with an F30 330d which is a good car but the E91 335d is a great one. The downgrade in technology is a big thing admittedly (gearbox, audio, nav ect) but the E9X cars are definitely nicer to drive... in my opinion. Last edited by Buttons; 07-05-2016 at 10:23 AM.. |

I agree the E90/91 are much nicer to drive vs the new stuff. Also agree with your point in the tech but is not miles away.
335d's always fetch silly money in my opinion vs the 335i. Sadly with the amount of cars being sold today it will cause us all a few problems when selling ours. |
