Hitting Limp Mode quicker in hotter Temps

Anyone else N55's (especially those with Cobb Stg 2-DPs and FMIC) hitting limp modes at all or hitting them faster in hotter temps??

What can be the cause of this?

No, my water pump is working fine. Are you saying it's about to fail??

There's only one time that my car hit limp mode and it's when my water pump failed.

I suggest you check your code and see what not

Mine just started failing yesterday. Car went limp on hwy and then warnings about engine overheating were on the screen. Stopped, shut off, waited and then it was fine till I got home.

My buddy who's a bmw mechanic said sometimes it stops working but then restarts and then fails again. Or it can just fail and that's the end of it. So I think yours is doing same as mine.

Yeah, it's usually no problem once I turned the car off and turn it back on the limp mode is gone.

It seems to come and go after a hard push for a little spirited driving.
