First foray for the Beast on a big track. Needs about 75 hp to really be outstanding. This car's amazing.

Cool video, that track looks fast and fun. Are you on the stock PSS tires? Any cooling issues?

Yes, the stock PSS's. Very sticky and predictable. No engine cooling issues, but the car can definitely benefit from a larger intercooler for the track, as you could feel that the boost levels weren't as high toward the end of the sessions.

Interesting. Do you plan to tune the car? (JB4 or something to that effect?)

Absolutely. Or bigger turbo package? Handling on this vehicle is spot on. I'm still evaluating if upgraded suspension is even necessary. I will be putting camber plates on to even out wear. Steering is almost telepathic. SO much different than my M5. I have to totally recalibrate my turn in points.

A bigger turbo package would be a very interesting read,or a straightforward tune.It would be interesting to see an A/B comparative write up from you

Edit:

Or anybody !

First small track outing to get a baseline on handling characteristics. Wasn't brave enough to shut DSC totally off.

Do you use Tire gauge or probe.

Initial cold pressures/temps?

The AA guys started at 25psi.

Thanks

If you set it at 25psi, make sure to reset the TPMS so it knows that you don't have a leak. After my first two sessions at Road America, the system tripped and wouldn't turn off even when they got to decent pressure.

At the Glen I started at 29, which brought it to 36 when warm.

How are the brakes holding up?

I pushed mine big time on a mountain pass and the brakes started to fade slightly...

With the Pagid RS 29s, unbelievably well. I've left them on because I've got five track events within two months and figured it was too much trouble to keep swapping the stocks. Two HARD track events and I still have pad! They sing a little, so I put these on my side windows.

Excellent! I might change mine since the fading I got wasn't really pleasant. There was more travel in the pedal. It is now back to normal and good.
