Alpina Flash - Shifting Jerkiness

I have the Alpina flash on my car for close to a year now and just recently have experienced jerkiness when shifting between gears in DS mode.

Would anyone know what could be causing this and the fix or has this happened to anyone else?

I've been told it could be transmission fluids need replacing.

Thanks

You likely need a trans fluid change, I have the Alpina and have not noticed and issue but I did a trans fluid change before I had it flashed.

I have the Alpina flash and DS my car is very jerky when shifting, especially when shifting from 1-2.

Mine is a 2011 with 35k miles and had a transmission service at 30k.

I only drive in DS when driving in manual mode and always start in 2nd gear to avoid it.

The Alpina flash seems to be a nice add on for many, but there have been several others who've had threads created describing the jerkyness, not shifting gears, shifting way to soon, etc.. I'd say if it's acting any other way than how it should, revert back to stock to avoid a catastrophic failure..

Mine works fine but I do notice something on occasion and I'm not sure if it's normal or not but haven't really dug into it.. Say I'm cruising in manual mode in 5th gear at like 50mph and mid-low rpms, if I stomp the gas and accelerate quickly it will drop it down into 4th gear as soon as I press hard on the gas.. Not sure if this is an Alpina only thing, but it's almost as if the car knows you want to haul ass so it drops it down a gear to make up for the loss in power of being in 5th gear @ 50mph.. Anyone else notice that..??

I've learned to drop it in a lower gear before doing that from now on, but it kind of freaked me out the first few times because you hit redline quick by downshifting while flooring it..

Mine doesn't do that. The Alpina flash is one of the best mods I have done to date.
