AFAIK, the 1M doesn't come with a Brush Bar. So what are you referring to?

I think he's referring to the strut brace.

I just wish the cf bar would fit the 335i better.

You can get the AE one and paint it black or partial, which would look pretty good.

In any case, a 1-series strut brace won't fit a 3-series.
And it's just an eye candy thing anyway, so why bother (unless you're going to really track the car every weekend.)

Any idea why it doesn't fit?

And the appeal of the bar (and the M3 bar) is the ability to adjust damping/camber without having to take the bar off each time.

It might be either too wide or too short, I'm guessing

Not sure about the 1M bar, but with the M3 bar, I know that the mount (part that attaches to the firewall) is a different angle for the e9X and e8X (if I remember correctly).

OP, you could always make your own for ~$160: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1128637

Because the 3-series is larger than the 1-series (which was built on an older 3-series platform.) I strongly suspect (I have to admit I haven't measured things) that the 3-series is a bit wider.

The M3 brace kit for the 1 series has a modified center mount to adjust for the shorter strut distance of the e8X platform. A e90/92 M3 brace will not directly fit on a 1-series.
