HD Radio issue on my e93 - Reverb/underwater-like audio when switching to HD Radio
I have a strange issue on my e93's radio.
Several stations have both standard FM and HD Radio broadcasts. When I enable HD Radio, the audio comes in as if it were going through some sort of reverb filter.. or sounding like it's coming from underwater. A video explains it best: (forgive the morning talkshow audio... anything else gets flagged by YouTube for music copyright stuff) I've done some looking around thinking of taking apart the IBOC module, but given my car (2009, e93, pre-LCI), I'm led to believe it's part of the main CIC module in the dash... Can anyone confirm? I've already dug through the trunk's hidden compartments, only to find the Bluetooth module. Has anyone else seen anything like this? Could it be a module issue, or an antenna one? AM/FM radio comes in just fine. The only other oddity is that the range for the keyfob is pretty pathetic.. maybe 5-10 feet max.

My keyfob range is pretty bad too, but that believed to be due to my tint.
Sorry, can't help with the other part. My HD radio seems to cut out a lot but thats not related to your issue.
