By the way it says E90 M3 on your thread which you corrected to E30 later on if bmw made him an offer it would be around $9K private sale? $60K-$90K ?

My aunt had a E36 M3 lightweight, and I think she got ripped off when she sold it (this was the classic Plymouth Superbird doesn't sell when new because it's priced so high, one day worth multiples of the original)....and I would guess the E36 lightweight is worth much more than a E30.

EAG has a E30 M3 around that mileage for $149K so no way BMW offered that. I wouldn't take anything under $95K. If BMW lowballs, have your friend call up EAG. BTW, location of said e30 for 'certain reasons'

What the heck going on with some of the replies in thread???
My guess is that they lowballed your buddy and offered him $8k. When the reality is that the private party market for a clean, stock, low mileage S14 E30 M3 is easily in the $50k+ (or much higher) range now a days. |

Haha nice guesses guys. All stock except paint job.
BMW offered him $11k hahaha When he took it to get it evaluated by BMW, there was a guy that happen to be looking for an e30 m3 and was looking to spend $80k cash. When he saw my friends car, with that little miles. He bumped it up to $125k. Long story short he declined and drives that e30 everyday 2 miles drove to his home and work. |

It's not really totally stock unless he bought it in Europe. Has Evo front air dam and splitter, bumper without side markers, Evo style side mirrors, Evo rear spoiler, 18" wheels?, lowered suspension...

Deng guys, all technical. You guys sound like those party poopers. Anyways, what i mean with stock, is nothing has been done to the engine. so should i say stock engine? party poopers... way to take a guessing game into a shtpuddle.

Like it's a cool car and all, but E30 M3's are worth a fortune, stock or not. You could literally buy a BMW that is a decade newer for a tenth of the cost. Why drive something that's such a liability?
