So is the F90 Chassis Designation Officially Official?

I just noticed this new section on the M5 Forum today. As the title of the thread states, is it really going to be F90 M5 and not a Gxx M5 for the next generation M5? If so, why? Is it because the next generation M5 is going to be using another variation of the S63 engine? I thought that the next M5 would be getting a G chassis code because it is based on the new G30 5-Series platform? This is utterly confused and I wish BMW or some one at ///M would clarify what is going on here. Maybe Scott26 can chime in with some knowledge? __________________
