iPhone adapter confusion

Hello everyone!

I just bought my car last week and I have been tirelessly researching the options on how to get my iPhone connected and Im seeing many different solutions to many different problems.

I have a professional HU w/ logic 7 (no idrive) and only an aux jack in the center console.

What I would like:
Be able to skip songs
See song title on HU/wherever
Connect via lightning or Bluetooth.

What are my options and their related prices? I know some of you are gonna tell me to search. And I did. There are soo many variations out their with weird compatibilities that I don't know what I should.even be looking at?

Thanks in advance,
Kris

As far as I know, no. Only things that show up on my HU inputs are tuner, CD, and aux

In all likelihood you would most likely need a new oem HU (or aftermarket) as well as some other misc parts

I find that hard to believe because my E39 5-series was easily adapted via a DICE mediabridge. Easy and relatively cheap solution. Do such devices not exist for the E90s?

There may be other options for you - it depends on your HU. In MY 2010 forward they started deleting the MOST fiber optic data bus. The radio i had in my car was only connwcted via canbus and lacked a MOST port.

I ended up buying the HU with integrated BT+USB and did an easy retrofit. But its not cheap

If you DO have a MOST bus you can use a DICE/parrot module etc. &ctuna knows more about the various afternarket options.
