Trying to do a alpine tcu flash, fucked up my ecu..
Yesterday I got my BMW standard tool setup ready and tried to perform a TCU flash.
As dumb as it sounds, I turned off my ignition in the middle of programming. Immediately I got a error message saying ecu not responding. While panicking of bricking my ecu, I tried to flash again and it succeed. The car now has gear indicator and stuff just as desired. But the problem is that when I try to code again and communicate using NCS Expert, I got a error message saying Error_ecu_incorrect_responding.. And of course I can't flash back to stock transmission and perform any coding stuff. Does anyone had this kind of experience before?? I am really afraid that I bricked my ecu bc of me being idiotic There's no abnormal behavior of the car except the paddle's not working as I was expecting after performing a flash. And I tried to use INPA to check airbag it still gave me the error message but it can still read status and info.
