BMW Labs - IFTTT widget

Just tried this out... Created some recipes with notifications. The capabilities are pretty cool.

Shame you need to have the IFTTT split screen open for this to work. I'd like to have an option for this to be running in the background too.

I downloaded the App a while ago but I couldn't figure out how to input any algorithms. Now I keep getting IFTTT notifications in my email.

I tried it it works pretty cool. I wish it also included control of BMW functions. For example open the garage door function as opposed to using garageio.

Unfortunately the app is not yet available in the UK. All recipes need to be created and managed online via a browser.

Also there is an app called IF. For garage door, I bought Gogogate2 instead of Garageio (cheaper and seems better).

This is cool for using with home automation, just connected it to my Wink Hub and now my lights turn on at home and outside when I pull into the driveway.

Would be cool if BMW functions were controlled as then I could tap the IFTTT button on my android watch and start the car

Also IFTTT needs to improve for multiple IF conditions (ex: BMW Home .and. Time>8pm). IF does not take time frame or other things (you have to use Make). Because I do not need Hue on if it is daytime.

Get an i8. It doesn't need starting.
