Bilstein vs KW suspensions
What is the verdict on F30 328i suspension upgrades.
I live in Bangkok and the OEM suspension is bouncy and too soft so I want to change it! What do you veterans who has experience with both of these suspension mods recommend? To go with Bilstein or KW brand ? |

Bilstein doesn't drop the car as much as KW. I went with KW v2, and love the ride and how low the car is. The car is much stiffer due to the dampening controls, but I enjoy the ride quality much better now.

Hi,
If you have RWD car- I've installed Koni Sport with stock springs without any lowering, and very happy with the result. No bouncing anymore, the ride quality did not suffer, handling is improved dramatically. Highly recommend, as the cheapest way.

Do you have all season tire? If you can manage to get PSS, you will feel the noticeable difference by changing the tires only.
If you like suspension upgrade, we have many different options for you. I personally choose KW over Bilstein. I found Bilstein is slight stiffer then KW on highway cruising. PM me if you like a price. |
