Can you remove f10 m5 exhaust tips

Hi, just replaced my e60 m5 with a 61 plate f10 m5.

The exhaust tips won't clean up to the standard I want, does anyone know if you can remove just the tips, and replace them?

Hi, also a new F10 owner, but yes from what I read, they "simply" twist off...although depending on age, they can be troublesome.

If you search for "Cyba" exhaust tips, there's folk in there with some insight to getting them off (iirc, the use of one of the rubber strap type oil filter removal tools was the most successful...I'd imagine applying some heat with a hot air gun would also help but not with use of rubber strap of course!)

The Cyba tips also look to be a decent replacement for stock items, add a little diameter and a choice of finishes and square or slash cut.

Hiyya....an interloper from across the Betty Bridge but often through Essex if that counts?!

Could be interested, am steadily de-chroming the car at the moment....could you PM me price please? (or did you really mean "have them"?)

Thanks
Spencer.

Just to follow-up on this, for any future readers...I removed my original chrome tips over the weekend...took no more than 30secs for each one. They'd been on there for 2yrs. Best way, just grab the tip with each hand, a jolting rotating action (you'll undoubtedly feel like there's small stones/gravel in there) and then they'll pull off straight towards you. Couldn't be easier.

They're held in place by 3x sprung fingers with sharpened points that bite into the tailpipe.

And thanks to M5essex, I have a very nice set of black chrome CP tips on there; top bloke!
