sunroof questions
hi all
2009 build E90. Is it possible to just 'crack' open the sunroof tilt function, rather than have it open fully every time? Even when I just tap the tilt button the sunroof tilts open fully. Same when closing. Also, should the front edge of the sunroof be at same level as roof, or just below? thanks! |

To answer your first question, no. When you press the tilt button it will open all the way so you have to softly press the close tilt button to have it slightly cracked open.

thanks guys!
regarding the first question.... so I tilt it open fully, and then lightly tap the close and it will close in increments? regarding 2nd question.... I've been getting wind noise more at the front of windscreen area (above 50mph) in some wind directions, which I thought started after the dealer put in a new 'screen. However the service manager thinks it could be coming from my sunroof front edge being just a tiny bit above the roofline. However there's no wind noise coming from above my head in the actual sunroof area! cheers |
