Instrument Cluster Question

So I was trying to keep the instrument display on MPG but it kept changing to the navigation arrow even though the nav was not on. How do I keep the "view" on MPG? Thanks

I've never seen that. You can toggle between what is displayed with the button on the turn signal stalk; if you have the nav running, you can press that button so that the turn arrow isn't constantly displayed.

You can also go in the iDrive settings to select what information you can toggle through. But I'm baffled how you can have a direction arrow without nav activated--how does the car know where you are going? If you split the iDrive screen, and you select direction arrow as the right side of the screen, there's no arrow if the nav isn't running--I think it becomes a compass.

Hey Mike, is this on your new car you ordered or the loaner? Just curious as to how you are liking the new car if you've already picked it up, and definitely post some pictures!

Hey mike, start and stop navigation manually it'll go away.

That happened to me once. Arrows wouldn't turn off even though turned Nav off. Next time I started the car, gone. Glitch. Hasn't happened again. No idea what triggered it.
