Pass airbag light

So there is nobody in my passenger seat and I just noticed that the pass airbag off is illuminated for like a minute and then it goes off for another minute and then it lights back up again. Is this normal and I just never noticed it? To be clear I don't have any warning lights or error codes, just the light is intermittently going on and off and that little switch looking thing next to the sunroof button on the roof. Thank you

Passanger air bag seat sensor has gone bad.
There was a recall on this in 06 07 and its a
common problem.

mine comes on when i start the car, then goes off and never comes back on. (even though no one is in the seat). is mine shot as well? it was replaced under warranty, but that was before i owned the car so i don't know how the light is suppose to behave.
