[335i ftw]

Hi,

I have a 2011 bmw 335i sedan rwd and recently the 4th thing to go wrong this season was my amplifier. I'm wondering what amplifiers can I upgrade to for under 600? The amplifier must be able to comply with bavaudio ghost underseat subwoofers, got them as a gift. Thanks

The BimmerTech amp is great but it'll run you $900. But at least it's plug and play, includes the harness and bracket, and they will preload a custom tune for your E90. Not sure if they have a tune for your subs though.

If you have the logic 7 sound system its a big pain to change it
due to the fiberoptic connection between the idrive or head unit
and the L7 amp. The only way to do it is to reprogram the head unit
or buy and expensive pre amp which by itself costs 500 to 700.
Also the L7 amp is 9 channels so that is another hurtle.

There is a whole e90 stereo sub forum here . You need to find out
which of the three different sound systems you have first and it has
nothing to do with the head unit.

There are not really any cheap options to fix this.

It's really hard to go wrong with this one.

But that is only a processor I believe
for that price you would be closing in on the price of a Helix
which is both and amplifier and dsp.
OP was looking for an amp solution.
