Options for lowering but keeping ride comfort

As the thread title says, I am looking to lower my f30 slightly, but not sacrifice the current ride comfort. Not to long ago I purchased a Lexus ISF but quickly got rid of it because the suspension setup was trash. Very stiff/harsh with none of the bonuses you would expect from the stiff suspension. Not sure what they were thinking when they thought up that mess.

Anyways, as it stands now I have the base, RWD non-sport suspension. I find it to have great handling characteristics while still remaining moderately comfortable. The only thing that I really want to change about it is the ride height. What are my options if I want to lower it a bit (maybe an inch or so?) but still keep the ride comfort that I have now? I have been searching the forum but it seems most people are looking to stiffen up their ride, while that is not what I am interested in. Any input is appreciated, thanks!

I don't have any personal experience with these - but some manufacturers have a
'comfort' version of their coil over kits. If I'm not mistaken KW has one called the 'street comfort.' An example here...

I lowered my F36 using the H&R Sport Springs which lowers about an inch or so. I have not noticed any degradation in ride comfort. There are also the H&R Super Sport Springs which I believe will provide a more agressive drop and maybe a stiffer ride as well - so would not recommend them (but I haven't tested them so who am I to give advice on them).

There are several active threads on this forum discussing KW Street Comfort coilovers. One of them:

Just sent you a PM, I feel like I recommend the B14s a few times each day to people looking for great comfort and handling while lowering their cars but we really do like them that much!

What's the deal with Dinan bump stops, would they work with the B14 kit?

I also have the H&R Sport Springs. Definitely lowered slightly, but I do notice the difference because I changed by RFT to Toyo non-RFT and when from 17" to 18" tires/rims.

Bilstein's front struts in the F30 B14 kit have their own integrated bump stops, you actually remove the factory bump stops while installing the B14 kit since they are not needed. The B14 rear shocks are designed to work with the factory bump stop which is retained.

I have the New ST Coilovers (Made by KW), perfect height (lowering) and very comfortable ride at 2 3/4" Rear & 2 7/8" Front. Tucked in but no rub and rim still flush within fenders (no fender work either) with 20x9 Front & 20x10.5 Rear. Very Highly Recommended.

Will it work for adaptive M suspension? I am going to order my F31 soon but still on the fence should I get the track package. I like the oem bbk but dun want the EDC to ruin my ability to put proper coilover or always have an error light on the dash!
