Quick Question regarding mirrors during backup

I just got a 2007 335i E92 from a private sale. I am located in Canada. I noticed when I am backing up, the right mirror tilts down (passenger) side, it will tilt down for better view of the ground for parking/parallel, but on my side's mirror (left driver side) the mirror doesnt tilt down during reverse. Is it busted or its suppose to be like that? Thank you

Supposed to be like that. Only the passenger side will tilt down.

If you move the mirror selector switch to the other position (some cars the mirror tilts with the driver side selected others it does it with passenger side) it won't tilt during backup.

On E90 only the passenger mirror tilts for assist in parallel parking ('auto curb monitor') only when the mirror select switch is to the LEFT on the driver door.
