Obd2 question

Is there any way to turn off/ prevent info from going to the obd2 port? Fuse? I have a 2007 335i e92. Thanks!

There is no way. The OBD port is part of the ECU.

Yes there is.

1) pry open the plastic panel next to the port
2) locate the yellow and green wire, cut them
3) now locate the red and purple wire, cut the purple wire. and wrap the red wire around the yellow one
4) now cut all the other wires except the orange one, cross the orange and purple wire together.
5) now you should get a beep beep noise, that's normal, that's the car doing a parameter clearance sequence.
6) once this is done, reconnect all the wires and you should be good to go.
