Coming home!

Hey guys. I bought a 2007 335i with 92k miles on it in July of 2014. I used a Cobb access port tune. That was one fast little car. Then I sold it in June of 2015 after less than a year. Bought a Honda Pilot to haul kids and their junk. I have missed that car often.

Flash forward to now. I am going to test drive a 2008 335 I sedan tomorrow. It only has 62k miles. I have the (renewed) need for speed.

If anyone has a Cobb access port V2 for the N54, I'm looking to buy.

Thanks. I'll post pics if I get the one tomorrow. Otherwise it might be a week or two but trust me...I will get one very soon.

Sounds complicated and high tech...

I really like the simplicity of the accessport.

Hopefully lots of younger, more tech savvy guys will go the mhd route and bring down the price of the Cobb.

Ok. I might have to look into it a bit deeper. However, I'm Apple, not android.

Definitely go mhd. Its the next flashing thing and won't cost an arm and a leg. Under $100 for their software after you have the cable and device.

Its a fraction of the price. All you need is a OTG and Dcan cable. Download the app, and click "stage 1 map flash". Done.

I'm no longer FBO, can I run MHD on stock? Just stage 1? Is it similar to JB+?

I've had it for awhile now in my nexus 7, I mainly use it to read error codes, lately have had the itch for a little more power but want to do it safely

Thanks for all the replies. Unfortunately, I didn't make it all the way home. I now live in the next town over...Z4 territory.
