Carbon Fiber Wheels?

I was skimming through the Du Pont Registry in the airport last week and came across a CF rim. they were on a ferrari in the photo. does anyone know of any companies that make a carbon fiber rim, or a carbon look rim?

I think they are Rezax Works wheels. Is this what you saw?

I think these are the ones you are talking about. These are OEM on Koenigsegg's.

I would love these but I think that potholes would tear these wheels up!

Just called up a US distributor of Dymag Carbon Wheels, they want $10,000, without tires for 19"s. WOW. i didnt think they would be that pricey! it will end up being 11-12 gs on wheels.

Yeah, I thought I read somewhere that they are really expensive. However the wheels weigh ~10lbs. Its probably the best but most expensive way to reduce rotational inertia and unsprung mass.

Dymag makes the cf (rim/barrel) & magnesium (face) wheels. Rennworx is the official U.S. Distributor. 18's weigh 14-pounds & 20's weigh 17.5-pounds! I don't know about u guys/gals but I'm no balla so driving on $8k-$9k wheels (plus another $900-$1200 for tires) on the streets I'd be paranoid about theft, potholes & rockchips.

I just saw another cf wheel in a magazine the other day that weighs 8-pounds in 18's but it was all cf (no magnesium face like Dymag wheels). Forgot the brand though.

The 360 wheel is a Carbon Fiber overlay not a carbon Fiber wheel.

360Forged makes a stunning set. I am not sure about their everyday practicality but they certainly are show stoppers.
