Trading my car

So I want to trade my 06 325xi with 92k miles on it for a 07 335i with 85k miles comes with I drive and CA. The thing is I still don't own my car the bank does what would be the right way to go about this situation!

Your going to either have to pay the remaining balance off or trade the car in and rollover what ever the remaining balance to new loan. You need to get the dealership to give as much money as possible for your trade in. I hope that helps.

Then it's probably not a good time to trade up to a car that's likely going to cost even more to own.

07 335 with 85k miles, you better make sure it's service history is spot on and all maintenance was already done (fluids, filters, gaskets etc) or else you mind as well start filing your bankruptcy paper work now.

An 07 with 85k goes for pretty cheap these days (like $10k cheap). Hope you don't owe much on a 10 year old car worth SIGNIFICANTLY less than a 335 with like mileage.

if you have to ask, then you haven't done your research.. More of a reason to just stick with what you got.

$8k is not much. I take it you didn't put down much when you where purchasing the car. You're probably young and not have much cash, it's ok this is normal. Very few of us are balling at that age. Save yourself the financial headache and stick with what you got. The 325 N52 motor is very reliable. Concentrate on doing maintenance work to your current car and it will last you a long time. You will be playing roulette with the 07 335 and odds are not in your favor. It can be a financial bomb ready to explode in your face. Imagine getting stuck in another loan, while all of a sudden your 335 breaks down and your repair bill is well over $2k. You can easily pay of the $8k in 1.5 years, which is roughly $445 per month. That's nothing, you should be able to do it if you live with the rents and don't have any other debt.

Yes, he was a bit harsh but some wise words there nonetheless. I would stay away from the '07 335i unless you can somehow come up with the extra $$$ that you will need for inevitable repairwork.
