Wheel Size??

Thinking about a new set of wheels for my 2009 335i. It's the sedan with the sport package so it has the stock 18s. I just put a new set of tires which are the stock 225/40/18 front and 255/35/18 rears. I want a new set of wheels that will fit these tires. I was looking at the VMR 703's or 710's but I'm not sure which ones will fit and I can't seem to find my stock wheel sizes online anywhere. Any advice to point me in the right direction would be appreciated. I just really don't want to have to buy another set of tires when I just spent $900 on a brand new set. Thanks!

If you went 18 X 8.5 square, you'd be fine. Just don't go more than 18 X 9.5 for the rear on a staggered set.

So you're saying even with a smaller tire up front I can still fit the same size wheel correct?

Yes, if you went 18 x 8.5 square you can handle both tires.

Your more likely to find a staggered set up. So, your probably gonna go 18 x 8.5 in the front and 18 x 9.0 to 9.5 in the rear

Tiny tires. I hope you didn't get run flats.if you have same size tires, get same size wheels. Then you can rotate. 245 works well for this. You have staggard tires. Get staggard wheels. I'd go 8.5 et30 front, 9.5 et35 rear so you can get bigger tires next time.

Sell the wheels/tires you currently have and buy a new set that are wider all around.

Don't buy wheels based on the tires you have now.

Agreed. Wheels are a long term purchase. Tires short term. You also can stretch your current tires if needed till next set. But if the wheels you really want don't fit the tires you got, sell the whole setup and get what you want. This is a do it once, do it right purchase.
