Body Damage, Need Advice
Hey guys, last week got into a slight fender bender.
Here is the damage Was wondering what you guys think of the damage. Will I need a new fender? Total cost of repair? I've been quoted from $600-$1000 Also, I ordered a front lip and side splitters so those are going to get installed as well by the shop, so include that in your estimate if you could Thanks in advance |

A decent PDR guy should be able to fix the dent no problem, price varies by region ( im in the middle of fixing a hail damage car) its hard to tell if the scrapes are all the way through the paint or are they just paint transfer and smudges from whatever it came in contact with? if its just surface stuff you should be able to wetsand and buff it back out, ive done it to many cars and shouldn't take more than an afternoon for whoever fixes it if thats the case.

Only e92's have plastic front fenders. e90 is metal.
$600-1000 is pretty cheap. I'm wondering if that is a new fender. I would guess $600 is not a new fender, but pulling it out, bondo, refinish, repaint. $1000 sounds about right for a new fender plus paint.

Yeh fender is definitely metal.
Than you for the part #! The guy who quoted me $600 said a new fender won't be needed, probably why the price is much lower. Just trying to make sure that the guy who is quoting me on the higher end isn't over-charging me. Thankfully there's insurance, and once the works done the car will be looking better than before. Besides the scratched up wheels of course. |
