Whats the inside scoop?

I have a 2011 335i with the Sports Package which I have been the owner of for about a year. So far it's been a great car with no major problems. I have the exhaust rattle on start up and the sticky cupholder. The peeling plastic start button ring has already begun. Are there any other issues I should look out for?

I want to upgrade to the LED Halo rings. Any recommendations?

I recently purchased the Dinan Stage1(Power Kit) and it is absolutely worth the money. I feel like I have a whole new car!

I am new to the site. Thank you for your time.

I used LUX H8's on my 2009 E92, and they look fantastic. Pure white and very noticeable even in the middle of the day.

Drop in bulbs are great, I used to have lux.. but I sold them to do something different. Soon I'll be ripping my headlights open and using led rings rather than bulbs. As far as issues go? What's the mileage?

There are hundreds of issues to look out for. Read the Forum, that's why it's here. These cars have been out for 10 years now and thousands of threads written on issues with the chassis and engine.

Good luck with the new car.

Rattle is catalytic converters dead. Replace with catless downpipes. Peel is typical on many plastic parts. Nevery had it on my start button. 228k and counting. If you don't want to spend thousands get a 16pw set of led. LUX or cree are good. Dinan is the biggest waste of money there is. Sell all of it for half of what you spent to someone else who has no clue, buy the good stuff for half of that, get more power, and pocket the difference, lesson learned.

Other things that go bad include water pump, injectors, wheel bearings, coils, etc. Just keep up on the maintenance and you'll be fine.

Good modifications to do are non run flat tires, wheels, steering wheel, tint, coilovers, Juicebox 4 G5 or MHD tune, catless downpipes, charge pipe, 7" FMIC(intercooler). Skip the intake unless it's for looks or sound. Same with exhaust. Neither adds any power. A $200-$500 jb4 or mhd tune adds more power, is more advanced, and is plug and play vs the Dinan. Intake and exhaust add 5 and 15 hp respectively if used with all other mods done first and if you're lucky. Unless you've already done full bolt on and big turbos they do zero. Fancy noisemakers.
