Sun shade
Does anyone have suggestions on front windshield sun shades (important with the black interior) for my 2017 F87 M2 with Executive Package that will go into production in a few weeks? M2 F87 specific accessories are limited so far. WeatherTech offers a BMW 2016 2-Series (F22/F23) TechShade Windshield and Window Sun Shade http://www.weathertech.com/bmw/2016/...f22/techshade/, but their customer service says it's not compatible. Are the 2016 and 2017 windshields identical? Is there any difference between the F87 and F22/F23 (e.g. M235i) windshields?

I don't see why it wouldn't fit. Pretty sure the windshield and rake angle are the same.
Either way, why not try a few out at a good auto parts store? This has been the most successful for me, as sometimes the ones made for a specific car aren't necessarily the best fit. |

WeatherTech reply "The sunshade will only fit the 2 series F22/F23 not the MS F87. We do not carry a sunshade for that high performance limited production model". I currently have a 2-piece twist folding silver mess sunshade I use in my 2012 328i with grey leather interior from some local automotive store, but it doesn't fit very well around the mirror. My 2006 325i had black leatherette and I remember out hot it got in the summer. So figured a more perfect fitting one will keep it the coolest. Comments on the accordion folding sunshades are they more difficult to store due to their size.
