Downpipes

Been looking at some vrsf downpipes but wouldn't it be better and cheaper if I just went straight pipe? - e92 335i

I have the vrsf downpipes and I love them. A pain to install but it's worth it. Get the downpipes!

DP's will give you more HP. unrestricts the turbos so they have more freeflow.

Yes it will get you more HP on its own but to take full advantage i recommend you pair it with a JB4

Yeah you'll need a tune to help maximize power. Jb4, Cobb, MHD are the most popular routes

I have heard you only get 5-10 HP with the VRSF downpipes or any Downpipes for that matter on a stock set up.

However, if you get a specific tune, you can get 25-30 HP extra plus what ever the tune gives you.

MHD for example, you'd probably be sitting at 375-80 HP with just downpipes and a stock muffler.

Put an FMIC and a charge pipe on her, and your probably at about 400HP.
