Opinion of BMW Car Care Products?

Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with BMW Cleaning and Care products, particularly with their Leather and Vinyl care products.

Just wondering if my money is best spent on another brand.

Here is a link to the type of products I'm referring to.

Personally, I didn't but I'm using the products of this company and they're simply amazing for leather care, and everything else...

I'm not certain but I would assume they aren't made by BMW. they just source them out to a company that already sells and makes car care products and then slaps their logo on them and mark them up for those that want 'BMW' specific products as they feel confident because they are BMW they are the best. Meanwhile they are standard stuff from any auto part store. I'm sure detailers domain on here can give you much better recommendations for the money.

The dakota leather is clear coated - typical leather care products won't penetrate and will instead just remove this coating.

Proper care for the coated dakota leather is to wipe it with a damp cloth and keep it as clean as possible.

The organic wax sucks, but the cloth convertible top protection is awesome.

There are a lot of great products out there that are better and less expensive than most of the BMW branded stuff. I suggest taking a look at detailers domain and detailed image for great products.
