What is the production date of the vehicle you are looking at? Before or after November 2012?

Having just looked at the recommended service schedule, there's a lot going on at 60K. That's something I'd consider regarding what's been done already, and if it's coming with any type of warranty.

Yea 60k miles is alot but im getting it for about 22k thats the trade off i guess. Since im getting it from the dealership im getting a extended warranty he told me that it would range from 2000-5000 depending on what kind i get.

That being said im not too worried about the miles, on the carfax there was 7 months with no records (1-13k miles) and then nothing again later down the road from 20k-32k miles. one owner and according to the carfax its clean otherwise.

As long as the car is in good shape and the service has been done on time you should be good ... I would take it to BMW dealership and ask them to check teh car, i think they charge $150 but it is well worth it

That's not an F30. You prob want to post in the E92 forum for more on-point advice for that vehicle.

Like Tex said, that's not an F30. The E90 ceased to exist as of the 2011 model year. I wouldn't trust that dealer.

It is in fact a 2013, but it's an E92 - no F32-chassis coupes were produced until the 4-series was introduced. A VIN decode shows:

VIN: WBAKF9C58DE860222
WMI / VDS / VIS:WBA / KF9C58 / DE860222

Model: 3 Series
Make: BMW
Model year: 2013
Manufacturer: BMW-AG, Munich, Germany
Manufactured in: Europe
Plant: Regensburg, Germany
Sequential number: 860222

Body style: COUPE 2-DR
Body type: 2-Door Coupe
Driveline: AWD
Engine capacity: L6, 3.0L Twin Turbo
Engine series: 6-Cyl. 3.0L
Engine type: 3.0L L6 DOHC 24V
Fuel type: Gasoline
Safety restraints: Dual Air Bag; Manual Belts; SRS-Dual Stage Advanced
Trim level: 335i xDrive Coupe
Vehicle type: Passenger Car

The dealer isn't being dishonest, unless some salesman called it an F30. It's got an N55 engine, though.

Uhh...not exactly. The E90's (sedan) last MY was 2011; the E92 (coupe) was sold until 2013, as the F32 428/435 debuted in MY 2014.

It looks nice. Buying at 65k I think you're wise to get an extended warranty.

It looks good. I have bought used e9X before and it caused me a lot of headaches. That being said, the cars pretty cheap at 22K. I find that bmws are a hit or miss... my e9x made my wallet sad on repairs but my f30 335i and m4 are doing completely okay.

Can you add an extended warranty after the original warranty is 15,000 miles past its expiration?

Probably not a BMW backed warranty, but a third party warranty like Route 66.
