Buying a new phone

Need to buy a new phone for the wife, she wants a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge in gold. Any advice? I was going to buy it off the Samsung website at £639 but its around £500 on eBay. Whats the difference?

What does your wife do with her phone that she needs a S7?

We all know phones are often more about being seen to have it than needing it. A lot like a car, a watch or jewellery.

Just wanted some advice on why the big price difference guys....

It's like anything on ebay. The mark ups are usually always lower. They may be sources directly from country of manufacture. I don't know how good the warranty will be on ebay.
I think Samsung offer an upgrade incentive so after a yr you return the phone and get the latest model for 100 or something. Warranty directly from Samsung probably be easier to deal with if you get an issue as well.
