Painting Calipers
Decided to go ahead and paint the calipers on my car today.
Here's a little before-shot. These unpainted M-Sport brakes stop great, but look so plain. Decided to go with a burnt copper color that'll look nice against the Estoril Blue paint. I have a can of VHT Engine Enamel Burnt Copper + some VHT Engine Enamel Gloss Clear. Wire brush + 400 grit sandpaper + brake cleaner + lots of ghetto masking later...first 2 coats. Did 5 coats in total, 10 minutes between coats, then let it dry for 3 hours, 2 coats of clear. The finished product...in no way is this a nod to the Florida Gators.......Go Gators... |

For now, yes. I don't feel like the traditional calipers on the rear would look good in orange.
Yes, I've done a lot of research on them. A lot of folks have used this paint on their brakes with good results. |

Recruiting has been of the charts and the 2017 class could be the best recruiting class ever, for any school. Team is crazy talented and athletic, just needs experience. Kinda like 2014 but with a veteran QB. I-O!
