Thinking about this mod

I know this isn't the suspension forum but I figured I could get better relevant opinions.

Since I don't track my car ('12 328i w/base suspension) but I want to lower car and keep ride comfort for a DD in an area with crap roads I plan on going with Dinan springs & bump stops with stock shocks. I only plan on keeping this car for a couple more years...is this a bad decision?

Different tires (non run flats) will make a huge difference in the ride quality, making it much more comfortable

Go for it. The Dinan springs along with H&R Sport are both made to run with stock shocks without issue. You won't experience a major difference in ride quality.

I don't know if I plan on owning this car after warranty expires so I really don't want to invest a ton of money doing a complete suspension. I'd just like to get a little sportier look and feel.

Normal tires will improve your ride more and can be cheaper

If your roads are smooth fine. If you have potholes or other road issues then no do the shocks as well.
