Oil cooler adapter plate question

I'm installing a remote oil cooler with an improved racing thermostat. My question is which fitting on the oil filter housing adapter plate is the oil supply and which is the oil return?

I have the stett adapter.

Stett called me back. Staring at the play standing in front of the car, supply is on left and return is on right
