4 series Gran Coupe + Mountain bike - quick question

The GC really has me thinking that it would be a great daily driver that could also allow me to slide my mountain bike into the hatch such that it is out of sight when parked at the office. Can then head straight to the trail after work.
I see myself keeping a moving blanket in the hatch to protect the interior. Heck the little cubes under the floor look like they could hold a mini cooler for post ride beverages.
Living in MN - the GC xi (winter is 5 1/2 months) seems like a capable and attractive alternative to the utility of a wagon.

Anybody using their GC for Bike transport? My dealer said an adult bike will only fit w the front wheel removed.

I put my road bike in my GC all the time. Yes, the front wheel has to be removed.

Yes, it has them.

I read it'll hold (GC) TWO bikes without the wheels being removed (seats down, of course.)

I haven't tried it...so I guess I'll have to now since I've always been under the impression they'll fit........

Yes, bike will fit inside with front wheel removed. I keep a blanket in there to protect the trunk area, but most of the time I use this to transport my bike. Beats any roof setup IMO.

Love the stealthiness of the hitch. Very cool. Left on, keeps other morons from tapping your rear bumper too .

Not a fan of the roof mounted system. You have to lift the things up for one..and run the risk of scratching up the car. I prefer in the car or like James has..the hitch method......
