E90 Msport Underbody Shield Missing... (Can someone post a photo of theirs?)

Hey folks,

EDIT* Can someone with a E90 Msport please post a photo of their underbody shield.

So this relatively new to me 2011 335i xDrive Msport is missing it's belly pan (underbody shield). I'm looking on RealOEM, but I'm having a hard time distinguishing which parts I need to order.

I know for sure I'll need the following parts...
- xDrive Underhood shield - 51757117369
- x16 Hex Head Screws - 07147129160

However, I'm not sure if I'll need any additional hardware. What I'm really not sure about is the two following parts. Do I need either one of these, or both?

- M-Package belly pan adapter - 51758040109
- Belly Pan Adapter Msport - 51117892935

RealOEM Links:
1) SHIELD,ENGINE COMPARTM./UNDERFLOOR PANEL
2) M Trim, front

Any suggestions would be super awesome. I can't seem to find any xDrive Msport underbody photos, so it's a bit difficult to figure out.

Pretty sure you need 51758040109, when I googled it I got this picture:

That matches the pictures ECS has here:

If I were to guess, I think from the diagram, the 51117892935 maybe goes from a spot behind the center grille to the front of the belly pan (i.e. the 51758040109) but I'm not 100% on that.

It's #13 here. So yeah, maybe? Seems likely and it's only about 20 bucks depending on where you get it.

OP, below is the standard parts schematic of the lower engine cover. Without putting the last 7 digits of your VIN into realOEM.com, this is the schematic that comes up. The part that you need looks to be item 11 in the pic below. To be sure I suggest you go back to realOEM.com and enter your VIN to be sure (if you've not already done so).

If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."

I link to that exact schematic in my original post. I'll give it a try with the vin shortly, once I return home.

What would really help is photos of the underbody of an MSport E90 xDrive. Lol

Entering my VIN just makes the dropdown selections for me, but I already selected them correctly previously. Anyway, i'm still uncertain if I need either of those pieces, of both. I'll likely just order them both since they're relatively cheap. I updated the title of this thread, hopefully someone can snap a photo of their underbody, that should clear things up.

Anyone with an E90 mind snapping a quick photo of their underbody shield (belly pan)? It would help tremendously!

It is no use entering your vin as you likely did not have the car built with this bumper in mind.

You need the adapter panel mentioned above.

Also, you will need a different belly pan, since this bumper was not really intended for the E90 here in the states even though it was marketed. Not sure why it is so confusing locating the correct parts in a single diagram either.... If you look at the Euro cars via RealOem you can see they use the same pan E90/E92. You need the E92 piece, part number 51758046333 if you want it to fit as OE looking as possible. This has the provisions to bolt up the filler piece correctly.

Body shops tend to just do whatever to get things to bolt up and not flap in the breeze and I have seen more than a few on E90's with terrible fitment under the car.

Good luck!
