I haven't done it yet but I was looking under an Alpina D3 biturbo I the dealership last weekend and that runs a quad tailpipe exhaust with no back boxes. I've heard them on YouTube and they are still virtually silent. The exhaust is made by Akropovic

The Audi V6 TDi of 313bhp and above runs a speaker in the exhaust, that's why its sounds more 'meaty'. Its also a V6 rather than a straight 6 so there might be an audible note there too.
Think of whats in the SQ5 for example. It runs two 'active sound modules'. located close to the tail pipes. Basically its like ASD that BMW use but the speaker is located outside the car. VW GT TDis have them as an option too., much like the M Performance Active sound exhaust. |

http://forumbilder.se/FB3DQ/img-8839 Mine. Dpf Gone and so on. Sounds like a real car now. Smokes like crazy though at full throttle. Asked them to tone down the exhaust. The dog is the thing doing the difference. 410 bhp, 800 nm New intercoller, dpf off, air filter mod, exhaust mod, and custom ecu map Last edited by Rondavouz; 09-25-2016 at 07:21 PM.. |

Awsome and congratulations! Do you feel any kind of weird resonance/drone going on because of the now emptied DPF box? I've understood it should be better with a good downpipe.
Any plans for a dyno? |

How smoke is there and did it smoke pre DPF delete?
How much more power/torque did the DPF delete make ontop of the remap? Thanks |
