Finally! Look what I go pick up Monday!!

I went and drove a 2009 335i this week and loved it.I'm going to go pick it up Monday. Think I got a good deal...92K miles,$16,998 out the door. White with Tan interior. No dings, dents, scratches and interior is spotless.

It is loaded also. Sport/Winter/Premium package,Navigation,Adaptive Xenon headlights,Logic 7 audio,etc.

What do you guys think about the price for what it has?

That price is about right for what a dealer will charge, congrats!

My 09 has 62k miles I couldn't sell it for $16k if I tired granted just has sports package and xenon

Forgot that the price includes a Lifetime Warranty that will take care of most things. Engine, trans, turbos, drive shaft, heads, etc.

I know a guy who works for the dealership and he said that the warranties they offer are solid.

Read the fine print on that warranty. Don't trust what you are told. Don't be surprised if the warranty requires you to take it to that dealer for oil changes, every 3k miles, and all service and repairs must be done by that dealer (including brakes and tires), and you have to take it in for a yearly inspection, etc.

"Sorry, we can't cover that warranty repair because you were 50 miles overdue for an oil change three years ago."

Yeah, already read the warranty and it says that I can take it to any certified ASE mechanic for oil changes, etc f I don't use them, I just need to keep the receipts for the services done, oil changes, etc.

Manual or automatic? Good price for a manual, automatic it's a little high depending on local taxes. Out the door $17K is $15K pre-tax if you're in a high tax area.

If the warranty is that good it seems like a fair price.

I can't speak to the price(I could on a 2005-06 Lexus LS430 cuz I am looking for one), but it looks nice! Looks like the rims are clean! I think '09 is a good year because you eliminate that subframe thing for one, and the 2010 has more std equip removed, and a I think it's a LCI too.

If it's a done deal, don't look back on the price, just enjoy. Congrats!

Cpo is legit, just that it excludes hoses, belts, and anything that happens as a result, but again for the most part legit, more than 3rd party... But whenever I hear lifetime warranty I start to think of the carmaxes etc which I feel is not legit, and if you read complaints you also get that feeling.....

Thanks for the input guys,I appreciate it.

Like I mentioned,my buddy has been working for them since 1985 as a mechanic and he told me that he has only seen 5 times that they didn't take care of a warranty issue and that was due to complete owner neglect.

They do there own 160 point inspection on the cars before selling them. The owner also told me that the Carfax reports doesn't report sub frame damage which is why they have their mechanics check that. I wasn't aware of that.

Anyways,I feel comfortable with the deal.

You should probably call bmwna once you have it, you can give them your address so they have it....or take the car to a dealer and ask for the recall fix...just so BMW knows who owns the car and can contact you when parts are ready...

C'mon guys, you know the dealer has to eat somehow!

OP you bought a car that you love. Now go enjoy that car on the roads where it's meant to be. Safe driving!

Any mods you have in mind as yet?
