Mike,

I understand they physically fit. What I really needed to know is that is m2 stock pipe just as weak as 335's as a few m2s are already out, some of us should already check to know if BMW upgrade the pipe material for m2 to accommodate higher boost target.

My m2 is arriving in Oct, CP is the only "mod" I probably will ever do to it.

Why would you do CP on a stock car?
If it breaks you can get it fixed under warranty

Because it's good to know the parts on my car aren't going to break, and did you just say it "increase throttle response"

^^^ This.

Does this charge pipe improve upon the standard CP on an untuned car as far as improved throttle response and reduced turbo lag are concerned ?

Dont get me wrong, im a vendor and the more parts you get the happier i am.
But i would not replace the stock CP if im keeping my car 100% stock.

Upgraded CP will increase throttle response, but it will not be a noticeable increase for a daily driver thats for sure.

Wouldn't you need to modify the ECU to get an improvement? Otherwise the car just adapts, correct?

So BMW says the MPE provides no performance gains b/c the car adapts.

Wouldn't that apply here too?

There are no gains from the charge pipe. Maybe better throttle response due to the pipe being more rigid because it's made of aluminum instead of plastic .
